With this private, event, you will enjoy an advance taste of our first five sparkling selections as we kickoff Sparkling December 2022. Christopher McCririe, from Elite wines, will be with us as the resident sparkling expert to answer any questions and we're welcoming Megan Vaughan from Vaughan Cheese Counter (North Beach, MD) who will be pairing our bubbly with cheese and charcuterie. We look forward to gathering after too long and toasting to the holidays together!

Join Free State as we ring in the holiday season with our second annual Holiday Card writing and Gingerbread House making party! Write a card to a loved one or send one to someone in need. We will be selecting a few veteran, elderly care and medical facilities who accept cards for individuals needing a pick me up at holiday time. Cards will be provided by Second Story Cards, a non-profit organization celebrating the creative talents of men and women experiencing homelessness in the DMV. A portion of card sales benefits the carmakers themselves, than an additional amount goes to a non-profit of their choice. Free State will also be donating 15% of total sales that evening to Second Story Cards. Mark your calendars for a joy filled night and help us give back.

Free State has been a longtime fan of KO, and we are excited to collaborate on a specialty cocktail list for the evening. The Distiller from Gray Wolf will be with us pouring tastes and answering any questions about their lineup of locally made Vodka, Gin, Agave Spirit, Bourbon and Rye while our team will be mixing up a themed cocktail menu. Stop in, try something new and help us support some amazing local distillers!

It’s a celebration of the Free State of Maryland all night Friday, March 25th! Our team will be shaking up Maryland-themed classic cocktails and our taps will all be taken over by Maryland brewers. Free State is throwing a Holiday Party to celebrate local! Join us for gingerbread house making and holiday card writing while enjoying some themed sweets, local craft beer, and specialty cocktails. This is a FREE event. Holiday cards provided by Second Story Cards, a DC small business empowering people experiencing homelessness in DC. The carmakers receive a portion of sales and donate 10% to a non-profit of their choice. Write your card to a loved one or we will facilitate sending your card to a local nursing home resident or veteran who could use some holiday cheer.
